08 XOOM Update Motorola XOOM updated to support Pay As You GoIf you’re tired of paying monthly fees for 4G connectivity and wish you had the option to just pay for data only when you want to use it – you’re in luck. Motorola and Verizon have just rolled out a new update for the Motorola XOOM Android tablet which does just that. The new software update adds the ability for customers to buy no-contract 4G data on a month-to-month basis. The Google Setup Wizard has also been updated to improve the reliability of Pay As You Go detection on the tablet’s first power up.

Other than the Pay As You Go support, it looks like there aren’t any additional changes to the tablet. The update will be available in the coming days and will be labeled HLK75F. How many of you will be purchasing Pay As You Go plans for 4G data for your XOOM?
